This is the sailboat I race on (no, I don’t own it!) and the crew just before the Queen’s Cup, an all-night race across Lake Michigan. The race starts at 6pm on a Friday night and we get into Michigan the next morning just in time for Bloody Marys and breakfast. It’s a lot of fun. There’s nothing quite as beautiful as the sky in the middle of the night on Lake Michigan, not one speck of man-made light as far as the eye can see. Front row from left:  Jeff, me, Barry.
