The Author Ring, started in 1996 by bestselling author Rebecca Sinclair, has re-established itself here on Ring Surf. The new code should be copied onto your page (see below).

Author Ring applicants must read and agree to the following Rules & Requirements BEFORE joining.

Author Ring Rules & Requirements

 

× Author Ring sites must be either the home page of a published author, or a page set up by an author's publisher featuring that author or his/her book(s).

  IMPORTANT: Pages containing only Web Ring links are ***NOT*** accepted into the Author Ring - ***NO EXCEPTIONS~***

 

× The Author Ring consists of web pages for authors published in royalty-paying, book-length fiction and non-fiction ONLY. There are several Web Rings available to unpublished and/or self- or vanity-press published authors wishing to share their writing, however the Author Ring is not one of them.

× Author Ring graphics must be downloaded or captured, saved to your server and pointed to there . Any case of graphics being pointed to the ones on eclectics.com and your site will be removed from the Author Ring. Bandwidth is limited.

× Electronically published authors are eligible for inclusion in the Author Ring provided the author has been published by a legitimate electronic publisher and adheres to the guidelines of the Author Ring.

|| Posting unpublished/unbought writing on a Web page does not constitute electronic publishing. Having your work published
|| and available via a legitimate, royalty-paying electronic publisher does.

× Blogs podcasts and webcasts are NOT included at this time. If we have time, and if there is an interest, in the future we may open a new Web Ring exclusively for Author Ring authors' blogs.


× Author group sites are welcome provided the Author Ring code/graphics appear on the group's main page. Author pages within the main group are encouraged to apply separately and have their own individual Author Ring code/graphic.


× There are many Web Rings available for publishers; the Author Ring is not one of them.
